ahh if only i had the time just to spend all day crafting and blogging.
Mind i really should spend more time on my own blog instead of browesing other peoples,but some of them are just soooooooooo pretty and the creations are lush.

Well i,ve only made a few things for friends lately need to get back in the mood but with the lighter nights and warmer days hopefully it will get easier.
The pics are of a card i made using my new spellbinder ditsy flowers which i luvvvvvvvvv and cannot stop making, and the memory box i made for a friend to give a young couple as a gift .

Haven,t posted for a while as i,m in a bit of a tiss with work problems and family stuff but hey hoo suppose it will all come out in the wash.

I,ve made a few things for friends just lately so i,ve worked to their specs and not my own but i thought i,ll show them off anyway. The first card is just me playing with my new grand calibur which i luvvvvvvvvre so much, the next one obviously is for a big disney fan and the last one is one of my exploding box cards.

Bit more about me

Day 2 of my adventures in blogland and I thought I,d share a bit more about my crafty likes.
 The styles of things like to do I love Shabby Chic, Gothic Vintage type styles a bitof grunge here and there can get me going aswell.
I also really like dimensional gifts and i had great fun at Xmas building lots of small christmasy village scenes with little houses and trees etc, I also really like altering boxes and makng lovely keepsakes for people for their weddings, babies anniversaries etc.
At the minute i,m trying to teach myself to colour with promarker alchol pens I usually use watercolours but after reading a few blogs and watching tutorials I gave in to crafty pressure and am giving it a go I,m finding the hardest part is picking colours that shade together well Isuppose practice will make it easier.

I have added a pic of a card i,ve made using these pens and some pics of altered cigar boxes I rescued from a bin outside a cigar shop in York.

Hi all this is my very first post and I haven,t really got a clue what i,m doing but here goes anyway.
I want to dedicate this blog to all my crafty musings but I may hav a few rants along the way about other stuff. I hope to be able to learn as I go, and looking at all the craft blogs out there has given me loads of inspiration and i hope to be able to give some of that back by posting my attempts and tips I learn along the way.
 With a bit of luck I,ll get the hang of it soon as i,m a bit of a techyphob and need very simple instructions to get me going so anyone out there who can help me along the way please feel free to tell me how to do it by sharing a link etc, and there's one already how do you share a link?
